Our Reich Tandem pump has gone down AGAIN, so I'm considering changing to another brand for our next pump. I've seen favourable reports of Comet pumps but I have no experience of them. I'd welcome any feedback on any other brand too.

Unless you have easy access to the water tank Think a Surflo external pump is the best option

I fitted a shurflow 30psi about 3 years ago, replacing the whale one. Been ok 👍 I think it's a bit quieter too

If you do switch brands, try to match the flow and static pressure/head. Don't be tempted to buy a massively beefier one 'just to be sure'. You'll probably just empty your tanks quicker whilst barely noticing the increase in flow. With the possibility that you pop some pipework that can't cope with the higher pressure.

Reich are generally much better quality than Comet pumps.
On our last van I changed from Reich submersible to a Shureflo, I got fed up with the microswitches failing in the taps.
