Any one please give details of where I can look it up.

Ours is almost 8 years old and was very sluggish other day, though it was cold and and forgotten pre ignition heating ...
Time for replacing?

Has done about 65,000

Thanks

Ellie

I bought this Varta for my 2.2 diesel Peugeot boxer last summer. Perfect fit and good quality, 4 year warranty.

Any branded battery will be ok though, Bosch is another one or the varta silver dynamic version is slightly better with 5 year warranty... But more money 🤑

Funnily enough this came up just the other day.

You can check using your vehicle reg on a number of sites such as:

When I've done a search for a 2017 2.3 Ducato it's come back as an 096 battery - so maybe do a check based on the reg to be sure given that others all seem to agree that you need an 019.

I'm not sure what the difference between an 019 and an 096 is to be honest.

We fitted that Yuasa battery from Halfords literally right after Christmas. Managed to get it for £112.00 with the deal they had on at the time. Five year warranty appealed to me.
Really could have done without spending that money at that time but, it was a simple (if heavy) swap and very pleased with the results.

Given the drain on the battery from alarm, radio, immobiliser etc it holds steady at 12.4v and with the sunshine today its getting a bit more from the solar.
I'm fitting a battery master as soon as it arrives...thanks MHF for the discount code! That should keep things healthy from our leisure batteries.

096 is smaller and less powerful.
I'm pretty sure the less powerful 096 is for delivery vans and the more powerful 019 for motorhomes as the delivery van is used more.
When I changed the starter battery on my 2.3 litre Ducato based motorhome the garage got an 096 battery as that is what comes up against the reg.
It was smaller and less powerful than the old 019 so I got them to change it for another 019.
In my case an Exide with iirc 950CCA.

Yes. Agree completely and I would never go with the smaller battery option on any vehicle.

I have a new YBX1019 Yuasa CaCa Car Battery 12V 90Ah in the garage I bought in error for my new motorhome but I should’ve got a bigger one. The new Motorhome has got stop start so I need a bigger one.

Most battery companies have a look up chart, however if you look at your battery it will tell you the make (possibly Varta which is what mine is) and the model number
