I’m told the caravan and Motorhome club has twice as many sites, and pitches.

We tend to rally more than campsites so the CCC suits us better with their temporary holiday sites and weekend meets.
So depends on your style of motorhoming I guess.
Also the CCC do allow you to call in and use the facilities on some sites, ideal if your traveling and being off grid.
Plus over 60's discounts.

CMC members get discounts with Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines. C&CC members don't.

Worth checking for affiliation discounts. Don't ask and you don't get.

We only joined to get a good discount on our insurance renewal.
Only use the ths & meets. Standard sites are simply not our style, too organised & expensive for us. We won’t pay more than £15 a night.
Get the app “out & about live” it’s very easy to use & lists all events with details.

We were members of both but now only CMC even without a van, purely because of the affiliate discounts.

One cruise discount pays the membership twice over.

We were only in CAMC for many years but a couple of years ago joined CCC as well, mainly because the former seemed to be getting very expensive and I was also “irritated” by some of the management views.
We have decided to retain membership of both. Mainly use CLs and CSs. Whilst there are a substantial number of non EHU CLs many CSs give you the option. We don’t use club sites as a rule but of those we have we tend to prefer CCC sites. Also more likely to get a non electric pitch with CCC.
With both we can usually find a site we like where we want to be.
We get mayday breakdown through the CAMC.
We had hoped to use the CCC THSs but haven’t found any we have fancied.
Yes, the CAMC does have more sites.
I would join both for a year, fully explore their offerings, both in terms of sites and discounts and see what suits your style of Motorhomeing.

We are with both, a couple of the sites we use get the fees back by what we save. Need to get out to more THS and rallies though as they are worth while, only ever tried for a cheaper ferry once, they could only save me 17p never even looked since.
did use CMC for home and travel insurance but that has gone silly now.

CAMC have nicer facilities.

Nothing wrong with CACC facilities, just a bit more budget.

When we looked into this issue a few years back we found they both had similar numbers of proper sites, and similar number of CL's/CS's
(We did not check on the number of pitches, so you could be correct here)

Having looked into the pro's and cons we went with the C&MC
