I am planning on fitting semi air suspension to the van. I am unable to fit the gauges and inflator valves in the usual place in the cab, so the next best option appears to be in the garage. I will need to drill a couple of 6mm holes in the floor of the garage to feed the air pipes through, after which Ill need to seal the holes. There are other penetrations in the floor which are sealed with a really thick black mastic, but not sure what it is.
What is the recommended sealant or mastic to waterproof the holes in the floor, would something like Sika 522 do the job?

Thanks
Howard

Here’s what I did with mine.

To protect the lines externally I ran them in small bore flexible convoluted conduit, which joined nicely into a 3 way inline electrical conduit junction piece, then up through the floor as per the photo. Sealed around the lower end with some generic black roofing mastic.

BTW if anyone needs a manual Dunlop twin gauge and valve setup as in the photo (minus the rocker switch) I have a new one at half RRP plus postage. PM me if interested.

A none setting black urea product as used in windscreen mounting is good. For two tiny holes it would be over the top.

Thanks. I will be installing mine in a weatherproof enclosure similar to yours, but will be floor mounted. Also plan to install the pipes in flexible conduit. Never thought to use a conduit box below, may look at using a solar double cable gland box.
