I am about to purchase a set of tyres and looking for advise on which company people use for purchasing them. I am looking for either Toyo or Falken brands.

Anyone purchased any recently and can recommend them?

About 6-8 weeks ago I purchased a set of tyres from Black Circles.
They recommend fitting garages in your area and you just choose the one you want to use.
Very simple and straightforward process.

Hi
I've used Black Circle before and found them very good.
However the last time I tried Asda as they were cheaper. Just Google Asda Tyres. They use the same system as Black Circle with local fitters. The price you pay includes fitting and balance.

I just use my local tyre fitters, Savoy Tyres in Willerby after first checking the price for supply and local fitting on My Tyres, Black Circles, Oponeo etc.
I then take in the print out, or show them it on my phone and ask if they can match the price, they’ve never said no.
If I went ahead and bought on line it would be Savoy that came up as my local tyre fitter anyway, so this way Savoy make a little extra.
All the on line companies are just ‘middle men’ why not cut them out.
I’ve recently changed to the Falken Euro Allseason Van 11 and so far very pleased.
I noticed that prices vary quite a bit for different sizes, my 225/70 15’s were significantly cheaper than the 215/70 15’s.

I also used Black Circles about a month ago when I had 2 Falken CC VANll at £112 per tyre, balance & fitting.
.(15" wheel)

Used MANY times before, never any problems. 👍

A good Scottish company....

I suppose that it’s correct to say that Blackcircles.com Limited is a Scottish company - even if it has been owned by Compagnie Generale Des Establissments Michelin since 2016. I don’t think that you could tell in that BlackCircles doesn’t particularly push Michelin tyres or always offer the best price on Michelins.

I bought two tyres from black circles and wouldn't touch them again.
Supposed to be a 2 day delivery.
On the 3rd day I rang them. ..only to find I was ringing India.
Didn't matter which depot I rang it ended up in India.
They didn't appear to understand "where are my tyres, they are late being delivered" and just went round in circles.
At day 5 I rand, quoting the ticket number, and told them to cancel and refund.....whoosh, straight over their head.
Day 6 the tyres arrived.
Day 7 a very scathing review on trust pilot.
Day 8.....an apology, to late tough shit, the review stands.

I ordered some from Amazon years ago.
Tracked their amazing journey....France to Holland to Belgium then back to France then the UK

Bought 4 tyres from Asda last week. Been checking prices for a couple of months and just bought when they were on offer. Fitted locally.

IF I had problems online like that, especially from 2 different companies, I would go to my local tyre fitters BUT, as I said earlier, I have dealt with them on 5 different occasions now and never had a problem.

All I do, as I'm never in a hurry, I book my size, make and where I would like them fitted about a week in advance.

I have now used the same garage on the last 3 occasions and we get on well.

The only time I have contacted anyone with a query, was when they first started and I spoke to a lady, somewhere in the South of England.
What can I say except, I'm sorry you had problems?

I recently ordered 4 tyres through black circle to be fitted by a local to me tyre company. Upon my arrival at the tyre company I was told that they had no paperwork for my order and when they checked their deliveries they found that only 2 tyres had been sent for me. I then rang black circle myself as the tyre company weren't interested in the missing tyres and I requested a refund as I needed the tyres fitted that day and subsequently went to another local company and had 4 tyres fitted. My one and only dealings with Black Circle

A good phone around accompanied by strong negotiating, it’s all on the day.
