Which camper vans have drop down beds?

We recently downsized from a Hymer B544 to a little Exsis. Went for the Exsis as it has a drop down bed giving more space during the day. The bed is very comfortable with plenty of space to spread out.

the Exsis is quite old and we would replace it with something newer if we could find a more up to date equivalent. Don’t want a pop top type bed arrangement.

What alternatives are available?

Nearly all A class vans have drop down beds. ...not everyone though but most do. So just search for a class models in your budget range

Some Alcove / Luton Style Motorhomes have drop down beds over the cab.

A lot more Alcove and C Class style motorhomes are being made with drop down beds over lounge areas, some electric.

Even some Caravans now have drop down beds, the Hobby 515 Series as an example

Dreamer Living Van has a drop down bed, and U shaped rear lounge.

Hi, very few camper vans in the UK with drop down beds but, as above, the Dreamer Living Van and Dreamer Family Van (great layout but very hard to find). You've also got vans with a rear drop down bed like the Knaus Boxlife and Adria. Knaus also has a new range of VW T6.1 based models (Tourer CUV) but these are motorhomes. Globe Traveller also has some models with a front pull down bed but these come with a fixed rear bed too. More choice on the continent (La Strada for ex.) if you're prepared to go the import route.

Why sell the B544 ?

Dreamer Living Van has a drop down bed, and U shaped rear lounge.

Also the Rapido Dreamer XL PVC has an electric dropdown at the front and permanent double at the rear.

Whilst I enjoyed driving it Mrs P didn’t. She does drive the Exsis as it’s auto box and smaller.

B544 has the best layout of any Moho. But we are now in camper van (pvc) rather than A class

I had seen something about La Strada but not any for sale. As you say may need to look at Europe for an import.
