In the process of buying a Autosleeper Burford and looking what needs to be done to help with my mobility issues due to an accident

Looking at Lincoln Towbar & Mobility Centre fitting an auto levvelling system -

Q1 are they reliable in your experience?

Q2 which one, Amplo, Ma - ve or E&P

So many different opinions on which is best. Aware it is an expensive solution but it will enable to get out and about solo

Namaste

Like many others on this forum I would recommend E&P fitted by SAP in Doncaster. That's who we used even though we live in Kent. Got it fitted during a tour round the North. SAP allowed us to sleep in the motorhome in their yard.

We find just telling yourself it is level. Works wonders for us.

If all else fails, a folded blanket works wonders.

We are on our second E&P set up and happy with both, one fitted by SAP (y) one fitted by factory (y) OK we had a leaking ram on the rear and it was fixed by SAP, are Lincoln Towbar and Mobility registered installers ? if they are you preferred workshop I understand that but I make make sure that you are not their first install.

E&P now owned by AL-KO and they also do AL-KO HY4 which we have just had fitted and in my view compared to the E&P we had on a previous van the HY4 is much smoother and also levels the van lower to the ground leaving our step at a useable height.
just a note to say I went for HY4 simply because it is four separate units and need no space inside to incorporate the pump and oil reservoir also no Hydraulic pipes along the chassis.😊
It is worth considering as the price is nearly the same now as EP.

Would not use MAVE. Had it on one van and did not like it. Pipes not bespoke and very noisy and thumpy upon retraction. Lincoln Towbar are a good company and have bee fitting now for sometime. One thing they will do is look after you if you do have issues. I can vouch for that unlike some other dealers.

We have E&P fitted by Rosmia and it's excellent (as were they). No pump or other equipment inside (other than the detachable touch screen), the pump is mounted in a purpose made box under the motorhome.

Very easy to use and accurate.

they are registered installers and thought this would give chance of a short break in lincoln - one review said they were taken to lincoln and collected the next day - sounds good Doncaster doesnt have the same appeal

As above.

Bell House Farm, Bell House Lane, just outside of Warrington. Run and owned by Phil and Cath, really nice people, extremely helpful and skilled.
We chose to travel across country from Hull, awful journey and Warrington isn’t a place I’d choose to spend a day but well worth it for the right system fitted by the people who know the system inside out.
Their web page shows a map with the location of the workshop.

Very close to AS Suspension is Walton Hall and gardens which is only a pleasant walk along the canal or Phil will drop you there. We were really impressed with it the first time we went to have rear air installed and happily returned when we had our HPC system fitted.

I love my E&p, as you say it is a considered purchase, but one I considered essential as I am essentially travelling solo (with elderly mother) it's been a god send and it's lovely not to be bouncing around like a boat at sea when it's windy. I used Courtside Conversions in Tiverton Devon who did a great job and have been great aftersales also (mine needed re-pairing so the engineer that fitted did a video call with me to talk me through it).

Amplo system fitted by Lincoln Towbars arranged by Lowdhams when we bought the van in August, no complaints so far. Had E&P preciously, also no complaints. If anything Amplo is easier to use, finding level on auto seemingly more often. I also like the feature where it just takes the load off the tyres without levelling, useful when parked at home.
