Good morning to you all.
It looks like a good weekend so I’m planning on heading to the South Coast before we go to Europe in 16 more sleeps

My question is about the apps. I’ve read loads of posts and I have park for a night and camper contact. Then I’ve looked on the moon fruit website and search for sites. Some show parking places around where I want to be but some don’t.
How do you know which ones are correct? Or do you just turn up and hope for the best?
Thanks all - happy travels

I have this - capervan contact - but it doesn’t show many places around Southampton.
Does that mean they don’t exist? Or they’re just not shown.... search for sites shows wild camping places. Confused.com ‍♂️

I don't think any are 100% accurate, but Search for Sites is good for finding all sorts of places.

We have found Camper contact reliable but found Park4night not always accurate and Places that did not Exsist anymore.:)

Camper contact is best on the continent, not so much in the U.K.
SFS is probably the best in the U.K.
Totally agree. We’ve found this quite a bit other than SfS you could sign up to BritStop which has loads of additional places too.

Park4night is handy because it lists places that you wouldn’t necessarily think of stopping at. It’s got me out of the merde a few times, camper contact also good of course and Archie’s is ok.

Used to swear by Camper Contact but using Park4night mostly now, in all of Europe and Morocco.

Loads more stop overs than CC.

Have the paid for full Camper Contact, trying to use it last 7 days thro Germany Austria and Slovenia. Bit disappointed, downloaded maps before travel, now they dont work offline or on. 3 sites i aimed for at weekend either dont exist or co ordinates are wrong. In Ljubljana for a few days, whenwe move on will try park 4 night.
Amazingly the Motorhome Fun category on my Garmin Sat nav has been reliable.
