I am not sure if anyone markets a diy kit for ALKO chassis anymore. Marcle Leisure used to but looking at their website now there is nothing on there.

I have used AS Airsuspension in Warrington, as have several others on here, in the past and found them good but its not cheap!

Gliderite also do an installation service they quote £1375 for a single axle chassis on their website.

I have the Firestone Air Assist kit which I purchased through SvTech, for our Burstner Nexxo which is on the Fiat chassis, from start to finish was just under three hours and it works a dream, in addition to the Air Assist kit I also fitted a gauge/valve kit from Marcel Leisure.

The Dunlop kit that Marcel used to supply is available from other suppliers it is around £1600 as Dunlop will only sell with the compressor & gauges.

At 1600 quid, DIY is probably not the best way, if indeed it is still available.
I had AS Suspension of Warrington do my ALKO AMC chassis and it cost only 100 pounds more - they do it all the time and it took a full day..

The normal working day is 8 hours which equates to £12-50 an hour for your £100 labour charge, are you kidding?

Not at all - compare with the 'normal' rate of mechanics...
My time is certainly more valuable than that !!
:D
The point is that it is a specialist job on the ALKO AMC chassis as the rear suspension hangers have to be removed and replaced. I wouldn't want to work underneath a raised MH.

He didn't say £100 for labour . He said it cost £100 more fully fitted than paying 1600 for d-i-y-.That doesn't mean the labour was only £100.:)

I'm sure it's not Dunlop, but specific to AS. I don't think that Dunlop do a kit for Alko anymore.

As Far as I am Aware, and certainly for post 2006, X250 /Alko Rig. The ONLY way, is to buy one (new) with Alko`s Own Air System. Alko wont supply a retrofit, I asked them!. OR have a retrofit done which is Close to 2K. No-one does a DIY kit. The Radius arms have to be modified and the "Bracketing" is Industrial to say the least. There was a Guy at Lincoln show who had a demo rig, and the Engineering is Very good BUT expensive!. (time costs money and the cost of the fabrication and machining?)

Edit:- This is for the PRE 2006 chassis only. http://motorhomeairsuspension.co.uk/AL.02.en2.pdf

Looking at the Dunlop Fitting instructions for the Pre 2006 Chassis, I would surmise that a competent Engineer could adapt the older kit to fit the later arms. However that would certainly invalidate any (Dunlop) warranty, may even affect insurance?. And would require access to an Engineering Workshop to facilitate. Which makes DIY conversion problematic.

And This popped up when Searching? But again NO DIY. http://as-airsuspension.co.uk/air_prices.html
