Long time
If you won a lot of money (no I haven’t it’s just a pipe dream) where would you live?
Consider the weather.
Consider what you would live in house/boat/van/land/cost of living.
Consider the landscape-desert/forest/bush/veldt/steppes.
Consider the people/language/way of life.
Consider the wildlife.
So where is it?

New Zealand in a place called Raglan it’s a small town with awesome surf just round the corner. I would have a wooden shack, an old Chevy truck as my daily and a PVC as my camper for extended trips around the two islands. Happy days. Need to get a lotto ticket this weekend now. (y)

I'd have homes in various countries ranging from a caribbean island to the arctic circle. Oh, and an ocean-going yacht!

Sorry to be so boring----- but I would live in a little place in central Portugal------ I would keep our 1990 nissan 4x4------- I have spent a lifetime looking for the place to suit us------- it took a long time but we have found it!!!!!!
(I THINK Pamala will agree??!!!!!)
We would probably just buy a small camper to visit friends and explore more of Portugal

I'd live in my moho and live everywhere. :)(y)

I wouldn’t move.

You cant beat Rhyll! Gods own country . He rested there when he was on his mission to build a place for all the rest of the world.

I do believe though...........He was having a laugh!

i may consider cyprus.........but would be happy to buy a bigger property and bigger moho, and a cottage by the sea in the uk somewhere, with land so dogbert can run free.........

I would stay exactly where I am now,in South Cambridgeshire. Two sons, two daughters in law,4 grandsons within 6 miles.
But I would buy a bigger house in Portugal. Oh,and probably have a helicopter and pilot to get around UK and avoid the traffic.

I would move to a little village in France as long as i won enough to enable my 3 grown up kids and their families to join us. Not sure which bit of France yet but Id have fun exploring first.

I think I’ll follow plan A which is move up to our wee butt‘n‘ben in Torridon but remodel it! I’d keep camper. Probably have another place for June to August to avoid midges .... where?

Whilst away on our long winter sojourn we occasionally were notified of a win from Ernie. However it's not (normally) possible to access the NS&I site from abroad so we spend a few minutes deciding what we're going to do with £1,000,000. Up to now we haven't decided - nor have we won any more than £100!

But we'd probably not move house, we love where we are, neither buy a new van, seen nothing to improve on it.

Probably end up giving it away............... Now form an early queue.................................:devil::devil:

Keep house in Scotland, and buy a chalet in the Swiss Alps. Would also buy a PC-24 to commute between the two.

Would buy a small farm in the Yorkshire Dales, fill it with animals and allow kids from deprived areas to stay there and see what life can really be like.

probably stay put here in this lovely area of kent as a base to travel from, but purchase a bigger motorhome which would need a driver as my licence now won't allow me a larger beastie, any volunteers to accompany me when the big money comes in?
