Hi everyone!

Hope all are well! I am considering leaving my flat and becoming a full timer in a motorhome. I live in Worthing, West Sussex, and am wondering if anyone knows of any good places to stay in or near this area.

Also, full timing is a very different/alternative way of living, and because I've never lived this way before, part of my mind is telling me it's weird to just park down a random road and sleep there! But another part of my mind is telling me to stop being silly; it's your life and you can do whatever you like with it! Plus, that's all part of the adventure!

What do you think of the above?

Thank you for your time! It is very much appreciated!

Jonny :-)

Northdenes farm, ( I think that’s where I am)

Titnore lane,,, basic but cheap and smashing !
Caravan and motorhome club site! Closes in the winter, but has summer seasonal pitches! X

Welcome Jonny from us in Rustington. I'm wondering if you're our youngest member :D

Can't help with the full timing issue but there are lots of threads on here probably answer most of your questions. It may not be quite so easy as you think but plenty do it. It's well worth paying for membership, you'll get unlimited posts and plenty of help and advice from the friendliest bunch on any forum (probably......).

Good luck

Welcome Jonny from us in Ferring and good luck to you(y). You're quite right you should do exactly what makes you happy just be careful not to join the motorhomes and caravans that are residing at the end of Marine Parade as I don't think they are too popular with the local residents.

Would of thought 1 of the industrial estates to park up for the night daytime anywhere but ferring seafront they have moved them on.

Broadwater green has vans there longterm may be an option

Street parking will always be a problem residents will complain and in all honesty who wants a motorhome stuck outside their house with someone living in it full time

Would be nice to hear from the OP re what he's expecting from full-timing i .e. Living more or less permanently in one place, using motorhome to save on rent? Or more of an adventure?

Perhaps in the broad light of day following Jonny's excited first and only post at 1.20 a.m. he's now (sobered up? ;) smelled the coffee?) and gone off the idea. Being harried between barren industrial estates and rowdy back streets might be a hoot in summer for some, but not in the gloomy, claggy cold of the other 6 months. However, in Southern Spain maybe.......?
Shame when dreams fade.
