Hi I’m currently wiring a reversing camera and monitor , is there a ignition switched live somewhere within the dash I can use? This is a fiat Ducato 2019 model.
Thanks

I connected mine to the +ACC radio feed.
Thought of that but sometimes they are intelligent and don’t have the usual permanent live and switched. But I’ll check as that’s a good idea.

There will be one in the fuse box which is a cover with 2 Philips screws near your right knee if you were driving. Check out "fuse taps" on ebay to tap into a fuse ?
Yes that looks easier to do thanks.

Changed my radio over to the leisure battery so now the red ignition live wire is spare, you can’t use it but I’m going to use it to power the fridge when on the move instead of the voltage sensing one which I believe is faulty. Mine also has a yellow wire which is permanently live. Probably useless information as mine is a 2012 Boxer.

We used a piggy back fuse holder in one of the switched sockets in the "drivers knee" fuse box for our dashcam.
There's a diagram \ table in the handbook that identifies switched \ unswitched.

This is a picture of our X250 fuse box marked with the fuse position I used.

Just found a better photo  of the fuse box connections.

The arrow \ red line was how I routed the +ve cable up to the "A" pillar for the dashcam with the blue circle being the bolt I loosened slightly to fit the -ve under and then re-tightened.
Just check which way round you wire the piggyback and the fuse rating required for your monitor \ camera.
Just to reiterate, ours is an X250 but I think the fuse box in the X290 is similar.
