My partner & I are newbies and have a fully adapted motorhome for myself with my electric wheelchair
Hi our Motorhome is a 28ft Swift Kontiki 2015 .
We have looked on our log book and have no Euro Status and as we are 4.5 tonnes in weight we do not know the appropriate tags we need ie for emissions etc?

Any help and links to legit sites would be gratefully received.

The worst places are those that you’ll find with a Google search - various ones charge €20-30 for sticker you can get for a fraction of that from official site!

For France, the official site is certificat-air.gouv.fr - quite a useful guide is at https://www.connexionfrance.com/art...ne-and-what-pitfalls-should-you-watch-out-for
(Site implies you can read once without charge, so may go behind a paywall after that?)

For Germany, I believe you can still get the Umweltzone sticker directly from many garages in the country, but for many of us it’s been very simple to order one from https://www.berlin.de/labo/mobilitaet/kfz-zulassung/feinstaubplakette/shop.86595.en.php

Sorry, no idea for Spain - not really an issue yet, but no doubt will be.

You need these stickers if you go into big towns or city’s.

If you’re over 3500 kg, you need them in France full stop - not just in urban areas. I believe in the original draft decrwe there was some consideration of making them only obligatory in urban areas, but AFAIK no one has ever been able to find an “urban only” proviso in the final decree. I’d be very happy if anyone can point to it in the final legislation!

In Spain, you won't be able to drive into Barcelona or Madrid - not that you'll probably want to being not small. Here they're trying to extend the (Catalan only for me) Zona de Baix Emissións ZBE àrea from the big cities to smaller towns of more than 50,000 inhabitants, but it was supposed to have been implemented when COVID was happening when everyone had more important things to worry about. ZBEs are not 24/7 and Spanish registered vehicles have B, C, Eco or 0 discs for these areas. You can't get these for non Spanish vehicles, but so far I don't think it's yet a problem. It may well be in the future, but so far, you're ok provided you don't drive into big city centres during the week- why would you want to do this anyways?!
