Hi, I bought mine inbTorrevieja from a dealer, simple tbh, and tax(SUMA) is 167 euros per year on a 2.5 tdci Benimar

There's a good motorhome show in Alicante every year - usually Feb, IIRC - that will enable you to see a lot of dealers and their wares in one place, and prices are (were) decent.

Insurance around 500 euros per year, which includes breakdown cover.

Thats Cheap for TAX my Audi A3 is €135. We come under Javea and I am told they don't use SUMA system ?

Re: Breakdown cover. Do they supply you with a car?. My insurers did, Liberty Seguros, but only after a 5 days, though they said should be after 7. That said, I recall the limit was 28 days with the car. I just nagged them. I have changed to Linea Directa now. But they only allow 5 days courtesy car.

A friend of ours lives just outside Elche and he told us to make sure you get one that has been stored out of the sun. Inspect all the rubber seals including windscreen wipers. If they are hard walk away.

Bought a Benimar T483 from them last November.
Good experience from sales and service.
Had a couple of niggles with the new van but sorted out promptly.
They also speak English which helps.
Suma(tax) euro 6 is €129
Insurance includes breakdown in Europe just over €500
