We parked up at Red Lion Farm yesterday Very @old-mo TypeFellaPerson and I had planned to PM and arrange to pop in and annoy you. However Management is Neutropenic at the moment and so I dare not go near anyone who has so much as a sniff. Our very best wishes to you and St Judy and a great hope that you will feel better soon . I had heard through the grapevine you were in the area...

That`s why I concocted a story about not being very well..

Heaven forbid you did come to visit....

Cannot give any details about dates for "Haughton Xmas Lights Switch On"....
Or the pending phone call about the Stafford Classic car show next year..... as....

The hedge cutter bloke we hired to trim the hedges round the field took out our main Power Cable on his way out...

Which in turn took down our Telephone line.... N: Power were quick on the ball and had a new pole put in and our electric back on through the night.. (Friday or Saturday.)...

But BT & Open Reach decided as their cable was across our drive they had to disconnect us, even though the telephone line was still live and usable...

But here we are 3 days later still with NO telephone line, and all that was needed was the bracket that held the wire to our house re fixing...

Had I been able and fit enough to get up a ladder I would of done it myself...

Bloody BT...... not fit for purpose...

And it has just started to Sleet & Snow.....

Back on the mend now... had a proper meal and feeling fine`ish ...

Quacks test`s show nothing untoward with my inner part`s .... just old age creeping on rapidly..

Every thing is on the up...

Had an e;mail from BT saying the earliest we would be connected is Friday...

Fired an e:mail off to the CEO of BT & Open Reach...

And low and behold 2 hrs later van`s parked up and all fixed in the last hour... and enough room to drive a double Decker bus under all the cables/wires..

It does pay to complain at the highest level..

And tomorrow I am orft to have one of these fitted...

So you won`t be able to talk about me in the future...
