One on the marina €7.50 per night via the machine, short stroll into town and we’ve never witnessed any bother👍👍

The marina aire is good if you want to be close to the town. I like the rowing lake aire but there not much to do there except walking, which may not be much of an appealing prospect in November ?

Be prepared to be woken up at all hours with MH's arriving from and going to the tunnel and ferries.
We stayed there for the first and last time earlier this year.

Which one?

Personally you would not catch me parking up anywhere within an hour's drive of any of the Channel Ports.

How about Bruges, or Ypres.
Much more interesting, much more secure, and you get to see something!

We stopped on the waterside ( marina) one last year and had the CRS and migrants having a running fight from about three in the morning due to the setting of a large pile of tyres alight!

The new aire in Calais is first class.. good security, near the beach if you want a walk.. about ten minutes to Le Shuttle

Stayed at the Marina one about 6+ times now and never any sign of trouble, only once has some Twat started up early and left his engine running for a bit🤬🤬 nice little village for a walk around and big area for dogs to have a play…
Went to stay at the rowing club once and pulled back out as looked like a tribe of as you likeys were setting up camp😳😳

Gravelines is 3.50€ for 24 hours this time of year.
My bad, never paid this time of year, last time I went in the off season (Dec2021) machine was broken and also it was still covid times🤷‍♂️👍
When I went in the other season it was €7.50

Sorry to the OP for the misinformation🙏

We usually stay at this one just outside the town if it's just for an overnight stop. No services but quiet and free. No likelihood of any public around as it's quite isolated and there are usually a few motorhomes there. About 8 when I was there in September. Probably room for 10 or more.

That’s the one we moved on from as loads of kids running around and some dodgy looking people and vans (not WESTY66) 😁😁

Went there twice on our last trip and it was nearly full both times, very quiet at night though…
Gets full of French on a weekend, and very early at that! We have stayed here a couple of times this year and was very quiet👍 Lidl within walking distance, and a nice patisserie in the town👍

Stayed at the marina September and then again in October, and had peaceful nights as we have had many times over the years. We were though a tad perturbed earlier on seeing around 80 young men gathered just up from the aire, being watched by a couple of police vans.
I posted such a month ago and was assured by a couple of funsters that they were migrant workers awaiting a bus ride…………..

Ah well, I've been there a few times and its just been normal motorhomes stopping for the night and very quiet. Having said that I've always arrived quite late at night after a late ferry. Not been there when kids might be around. Maybe there was some event going on at the rowing club?
