where do all these solar panels go ?

Tenerife....sat on my Balcony watching the shopping precinct opposite taking down all the solar panels.I counted em and there was just short of 400.
Got me wondering surely they cant be knackered the precinct is only 3 years old, are they resold? scrapped, refurbed.

How can they be, there are 11down and 5across = 55 surely or am I counting the wrong thing? (I know nothing of solar )

Yes, 72 cells, what I meant was odd was the way the photo looked to pick up on and highlight the cell connections.
