The clip down handles on my Laika are failing, will open, but it may not last long, IMG_1514.webpIMG_1511.webp

Whuuuu...looks posh! Is it possible to remove it and mend it at all? Most things can be tinkered with ?

May be available from Camper uk, but trying to avoid dealer prices. No way to repair that i can see, but may be possible with the help of 3D printing. Fortunately John's brother has one
The part you press down has become brittle and snapped on the kitchen, most used one.

Which bit is broken? If it's the mechanism behind the door/panel, sometimes they can be replaced with a standard catch. Available from many caravan supply shops.

Short term fix - swap the handle for one that's used very little.
Emm-Bee are still Laika dealers but there parts department is not the best.

It is the part you press down to release the catch, it has gone brittle and part has broken away. still works but would like a new one, have a few seldom used lockers, but we still need to get into them.
Shame Emm-Bee have lost their reputation for parts, we bought our last van, used, from them and they were excellent.

May be worth taking one off and looking for any numbers on it. Sometimes you can track down parts by that or it may have a manufacturer name. Worth a try.. Post a pic if you find anything.

Thanks tonka will do that probably tomorrow, as i will need to go to storage and John will be at 🏌️‍♂️hope i can get it back on again 🤣

A cupboard handle and catch has broken in my Bavaria. Quite similar to the one in the ops photo. Tried everywhere couldnt trace one. In the end had to use the dealer very expensive for what they are.
