Swift Bolero 680FB
Hi All,

The window above the driver and passenger seats has delaminated across the top edge. This means when it rains it fills with water which in turn eventually comes down on me when driving or at best soaks the seats !

Having unsuccessfully tried to seal it with tape I now need to source another but cannot find one anywhere on the Internet.

Does anyone have any ideas please ?

It is a 2012 Swift Bolero FB.

My thanks in advance.

Magnum motorhomes are always mentioned. For an excellent semi permanent repair use clear CT1, Toolstation sell it amongst others. Awesome stuff 👍

Sorry to say but Swift may be the only people to get a replacement from.
If its the one that forms part of the entire front roof part, then my heart goes out to you.
If you join The Swift Owners Forum (if it still exists?) you may get some answers from forum members.
True story: Look away now, if sensitive.
We ordered a brand new Swift Bolero 714SB in 2017,for 68K before discounts, Swift were months behind building them along with Kon Tiki's at the time, we were given 3 false build dates.
There was a reoccurring problem with the entire front part of the roof section lifting at anything over 50MPH, and making noise. Swifts "Resolve" to this was to place double sided sticky foam strip along the front & Side edges of the PVC part that has The Swift Logo on it.
I asked on The Swift Talk Forum whether they would provide a better solution to this by then well known problem, along with a list of other known build defects, by the time they got round to actually building our van?
They did not answer my question, within a fortnight there were over a hundred Swift Talk Forum members telling Swift to answer my concerns and put my mind at rest...well they still didnt answer, even after me giving them 2 weeks notice that I would cancel the order if they didnt answer.....They still ignored my request for peace of mind, so I took the forum members advice and cancelled the order.
Bloomin shame as we liked the internal layout at the time, but their loss, my lucky escape as we bought a dearer Carthago for peace of mind.(y)

If you can get some into the open join and clamp it somehow overnight it will probably be good for years. Buy the cleaner/solvent at the same time, makes smoothing and cleaning afterwards MUCH easier.

Ours failed recently too and we’re getting it from Avonbridge. A whopping £2,400 ….

Stupid design another pointless Motorhome gimmick, what’s the point of it? How to burn your head whilst driving.

Just building future problems and expense in for the sake of it.

With my options running out fast and the winter approaching just as fast I'm likely to give this a go. Thank you for the solvent tip 👍
