Cabo de Gato it was. I think I am the only Brit in the region, but not lonely!

Have you been up to the lighthouse? Keep an eye out for the Trumpeter Finches beautiful little birds.?

No Speve, however for bird lovers the whole area is filled with both resident and birds in transit. Just one look at the salinas with waders of all kinds including Flamingoes makes a visit here worthwhile. A couple of Storks flying overhead and the oddly similar Spanish sparrow attracted us. Recently coming down from Estramadura where we were spoiled by the selection of vultures and Azure winged Magpies I failed to visit the lighthouse. Next time... at the moment there is a windstorm, so not much about.

Yes I’m one of those bird lovers we spend a lot of time in extramadura, Donana, La Juanda near Tarifa and Castro Verde we love it.??

Yes we did in our Autotrail Tracker but don’t think I would in the Hymer it’s just a bit longer although the had improved the road quite a bit last time we were there.
Perhaps our paths will cross down that way over winter? Loving the van by the way.???

Glad you like your van . We're still happy with ours, too. Hope our paths will cross again. We're hoping to actually make it to Morocco this winter, otherwise it'll be Spain and Portugal again .

We have a 7.8 metre Adria and have learned the hard way when not risk it, so have not taken the van up that route, sadly.
