Where are all the Motorhomes/Campervans

"Where are all the motorhomes/ campervans?"

They must all be in the UK still, because they're certainly not here in Portugal in their usual numbers.
I think the Covid19 scaremongering is working very effectively in keeping motorhomers of all nationalities in their home countries.
It is of course all a load of tosh and it's quite safe to travel, especially to Portugal which is handling it all far better than the UK........which is why they've been punished with a lack of an air bridge for so long and even when an air bridge was allowed, the government screwed with holidaymakers to Portugal by inferring that the air bridge might end in order to hurry them all back to the UK to spend their money.........and avoid a quarantine punishment.
The media are in on it too, an article today in the Daily mail saying that the UK is set to be hotter than Portugal.........why not hotter than Spain or the south of France?
More media bulls**t designed to make folk stay in the UK and avoid Portugal. But there we are, it is the Daily mail after all....🙄

I think we are all the same, if an idea or subject suits us or is good for us we think it’s absolutely marvellous. If it doesn’t suit us it absolutely ridiculous, and nobody is any different.

After waiting in, until the schools went back, before we ventured out in the van, we have been in the Chester/Shropshire area for past couple of days, and have been surprised just how few MH’s/Campervans that we have seen on the road. We thought that there would have been loads, judging on the up take in people buying up all the stock from dealers etc.
Not moaning, as have been able to get parked up with no issues👍 but Where is everyone?
They are all down here crowding out the south west

Plenty on the C&CC site at Tewksbury. Camp-site is virtually full until mid-October, and was roughly 50-50 motorhomes and caravans when we were there this week.

A park site in Lowestoft is extending its season by a couple of months to a week before Xmas due to the amount of demand.

They're all in North/ East Yorkshire!

Plenty in Southport yesterday, we were laughing as at least five parked separately near the boating lake, all with doors open at lunchtime. Also one of the car parks at the theme park had at least a dozen parked up and were offering overnight deals, no cars parked their.

i would also say nearly half the clients at Burrs in Bury are Motorhomes rather than tin tents.

Yes that is correct, nice walks, and two great pubs. Basically a chill out site.

Looks nice and a good location for me after visiting one of our mines. I cant leave the kids at home so another one we are barred from.
What wild antics go on at these sites that kids can't see ;).

We are still empty most of next week if any body is down this way.

More than usual in our supermarket car parks yesterday. Looks like the SW300 is getting popular.

One in 15 vehicles on A30 (Devon / Cornwall) seemed to be a Motorhome
Tintagal last week end was full
Lots on Campsites
Appledore car park was full
We arrived at LE on Wednesday and couldn’t see a thing thankfully yesterday was lovely and we walked to Sennen cove, bit overcast today.

11yrs - we are looking for our October half term break! Which I think is the week before most others! Sunshine has been ordered😀

Glad you have ordered the sunshine.
We said adults only over our concerns that there would not be enough for kids to do here. All as they seem to want to do these days is play the latest computer game. And I hope you spotted currently we do not have an electric supply, although we are seriously looking at adding electric in the future along with a hard standing area.
One thing we do have is plenty of space, so if he is the type to kick a ball and not annoy anybody else we might re consider. Send me a Private Message with your contact details if this is of interest.
