Lots of my trip have links in my signature.

Just so you know, when we in the UK talk about money it’s cheques, not checks.

I hope you know I’m not being rude, but I think you like to know these things 👍🏻👍🏻
Never ever will I think someone correcting me is being rude, and I think I'm probably the only one Jim will let you correct without being sent to Coventry!
Actually I have ....checked...lol... before, on Google translate, as I thought I was wrong, but then Google is wrong too, so I'm going to send them the right word!

Blogging

If it can't be done here. A friend uses blogger.com to regale us of all his trips.

Apparently easy to set up and then type in like MS Word to add updates and pictures.

Could be that Google is American, though what the Yanks call a check in UK sometimes would be called a bill {like l'addition in France.} Very confusing.
In UK a check might be something that stops you, an assesment of some sort or the band round a policemans hat.

OH not well with prostate issues … every appointment is 4 week wait so not sure when we will get across. Hopefully October but if not, next Easter.

We are there now. Ferry back next Sunday from Caen.
Quite a few British here Inc the Norfolk DA that we are here with.

Santander 20th July then a month bimbling up the Atlantic coast of France. Ile de Re beckons and it can't come too soon except that our new van keeps being delayed and it is a touch squeaky bum waiting!

Already here! Did 10 days at Le Mans 24 hour race, spent some time in the Bordeaux region, wine tasting, dashed to the west coast to try and temper the heat a little. Currently at a lovely Camping Car Park site on a little island called Ile Madame. Unpopulated, nothing here except a couple of beaches and some fishing huts.

The best bit...only accessible at low tide by drinking across a rough pebble causeway.! Fantastic find.

We've stayed at the CCP aire on the mainland, which I don't particularly recommend. The tide times were not ideal for reaching the island as high tide was around noon.
