What was your Campsite of the Year 2019?

This one because we were camped on the sea bed 4m below sea level.

Followed by Edam which has mega cute tourist traps within cycling distance.

I'm thinking of heading up the Otztal valley in July

There seems to be two campsites of that name
"Otztal Arena Camping" &
"Camping Otztal Langenfeld"
Which is the better one ?

There is also Camping Solden, which I stayed at 20+ years ago and I don't remember being as anything special.
(It did not help that I had to extract 10 Venture Scouts from Solden police station, but hopefully they wont recognise me after all this time)

Langenfeld, nice restaurant on-site too.

Sölden is tiny.

I looked into the entrance area and it looks very tight there, and the plots look small? Also it is on an industrial estate? And it looked quite full, I think it was early March 2018. Luckily we had a spot outside a rellies' villa, but we may be back there in a few weeks, so might try to stay at the site for a week or so, so as not to impose too much on our rellie.
Are you sure its Camping Javea as it has a large easy to manoeuvre entrance. Camping Naranjal down the road is definitely tight.

In England Devizes c&cc in Scotland Loch Ness shores clubsite. Both different but both brilliant with great staff and facilities.. In France most are good but nothing stands out..

Camping al Lago on the banks of Lake Ledro in Italy. It's Lake Garda's little brother. Only seven miles to walk or cycle round. Pieve is a lovely little Alpine town with a few little bars and restaurants, plus a very well stocked grocery store with a great hot and cold deli full of fresh local produce.

Campsite is small, but has a great little restaurant and the setting is...well, this was the view from our awning. The water in Ledro is crystal clear, is one of the cleanest Italian lakes and in July, the water was the perfect temperature.

Mikki aire in Portugal have some of the nicest pitches of any aire I've been on €7 elec extra.View attachment 356921
Now this is more like my memory of Mikki's. Unlike someone on another thread, who had nothing good to say about it (for understandable personal reasons though). I thought the artificial grass was a great idea, saved walking in all the grit into the van. We'll be there in a few weeks.

We only had a short trip up north due to Mrs bigtree being a bit poorly last year, so it has to be Applecross campsite. We were lucky with the weather and the midges too
