Have Whale taps fitted to our 2012 Bailey Approach. Over the summer, the kitchen tap started dribbling and after the replacing the ceramic cartridge, the drip continued. Removed the aerator filter thing on the end of the tap and the dripping stopped. But after about 20 seconds after turning the tap off, there is a dribble of water for a second or two. Not a problem if the sink is in use but a pain if you’re travelling and cover’s on etc.

Unfortunately, I lost the old filter/aerator before I measured it. I ordered one that turns out is too large for the tap. The outer diameter of the aerator is 21.9 mm. I’d like to order one that fits but not sire what size to get. The van’s in storage otherwise I’d try and measure the inner diameter of the tap and see whether there are aerators that fit.

But there is likely to be someone on this esteemed forum who probably knows the answer. For which, I’d be most grateful. Here’s a photo.

I didn't know there was a choice of aerators - bought a five pack some time ago and fitted several taps at home.

Have bought a replacement that should fit only now I’m having a job loosening the old one. I recall, when I cleaned the old one, it was screwed in only finger tight. Now, even with a plumbers pliers wrapped on a towel ( to avoid damaging the chrome plate) it isn’t shifting. 🤔
