What pushes you to the edge?

French car designers.. The number of times I'd of loved to beaten them with a baseball bat after spending an hour trying to get an oil filter off or change a headlight bulb. Looking like I've been self harming by the end of it.

Donald Trump... Wheres Lee Harvey when you need him.

Ohhh... and don't even get me started on misuse of planishing hammers ?

We were on a site in Devon last year. Day one, a couple a few pitches away were playing loud music. We put up with it and hoped the next day would be quieter. Anyway, come the afternoon and the loud music went on again. My husband went over and very politely asked the lady if they would turn it down as it was disturbing us. She turned it down but a minute later her husband bellowed at her to turn it back up, which she did.

He then proceeded to come over to our pitch and rant at us for daring to ask him to turn his music down. He was deeply unpleasant and quite threatening.

What would you have done?
it depends on what you have the opportunity to do, whether for self satisfaction, or to prove a point.
In the past, having been blocked in by someone in a multi storey, we bumped his car between two pillar that were closer together than his car was across the corners.. block 2 cars in with 4 guys in each, and this stuff happens.
Whilst at a race once, we had the same issue with music late at night , and stole the windscreen wipers off his van. A mate drained the oil out of someones van and clipped the warning lights. That was harsh , but again , the bloke was a dick..

Sometimes simple things like bread on the roof are enough, but these days , I have to be honest , with how people are , moving on and letting it go are the safest options.

If it was on paid site I'd be getting hold of the manager and hopefully get them kicked off for the music and threatening behaviour

Thats the problem these days, say anything and you risk making things worse.

Our neighbours play loud music and smoke pot so the smell permiates into our house. But as the police have been round numerous times for fighting and threatening behaviour just between themselves its not worth trying to reason with them so are stuck with it.

Wildcamp away from all of them.

Things that make yo go “Grrr”

Women in large 4x4s driving round puddles into the centre of the road. There is a rural school near us, and the school run brings 'em out.

Like the bread idea, wet bread might be better sticks like.........

Reading and enjoying a thread. Posting what I think is a pithy reply. Only to find the next morning that I have retained my world title as thread killer extraordinaire.

Go on I dare you......;)

Worse when you realise someone beat you to it with a better one :Eeek: .

Celebrity 'culture' any 'entertainer' who suddenly becomes overcome with acres of wisdom, telling us who to vote for, or who not to vote for, recommending buying stuff that they clearly know nothing about.

Nitwits that have been on some Jungle/Reality/singing etc.. TV shite, suddenly they're 'celebrities'.. jeez there's even peolpe who are 'celebrities' simply because they watch said shite on TV.

Actors being fawned over at those back slapping awards shows.. bloody hell they only earn a living by pretending, they're not highly skilled surgeons saving lives, or rescuing folk from danger!..

Begone All Of Them!!

Why would I feel like giving up MHing? I certainly did when we got back to our new MH after a lovely potter round a market and discovered that some twat had cracked the front bumper! That was NOT a happy day!!!!

I have an iPod but believe me, the music they were playing was far too loud to drown out.

Get some large obvious earplugs
This guy was so ignorant, not to mention aggressive, he wouldn't have given a FF!

In the end, I spoke to the manager of the site. He said he would send his wife over to speak to the idiots playing the music, [as she was good at that sort of thing, :ROFLMAO: ] We didn't hear any more music.

Probably easier and less stressful if you had moved

She was obviously an excellent shot!

Yes, you're right expect for the fact that we had paid for a week to stay on the site. If we hadn't paid we would have moved.

One pet hate before you lot start me off on a list:-

One ought to say, for example:-

I could HAVE gone to France, NOT

I could of gone to France!

Daughter who went to grammar school and teaches at the girl's grammar school nearby always makes this mistake and lifelong I have corrected her but it makes no difference, she always makes me cringe when I hear it!

I’m glad you bought it to my attention........there you go I’m done.....
