Hi there

Do you know what this rubber seal thing is called on my 2017 Boxer? It's on the end of the scuttle. It's kp'd and I can't seem to find a replacement.
TIA

Martyn

Is it to stop water draining down off the windscreen where the firewall/bulkhead joins the front wing? So as Brian says its a rubber seal thing.

"rubber seal thing"

I think you have answered this yourself .. best remove it and take to a dealer who will be able to look it up.
I was hoping to have a better term so that I can do a Google search and get one without having to approach a main dealer.

I have tried searching for "rubber seal thing" and I am not getting what I desire!

Go to a relevant dealership parts dept. Show them it and have your vin number handy. They can then give you a print out of part and code and up to you where you buy from. Last time I got something for works van I did just this at Citroen and the chap said it will be a quarter our price on eBay (it was some oddly bent bit of air ducting pipe).

Don't think it's rubber more like compressed foam, lightweight and not very durable.

I have one of those at each end of my Ducato scuttle. I call it a rubber seal thing. Sometimes a f****** cr*p rubber seal thing. It enables the water to drain from the edge of the screen onto the scuttle water drain ( think). If you are buying a new one because the one you have is damaged, fair enough. But if you're buying one because yours leaks, don't bother. Save yourself some money as the new one will leak as well!

That sounds like good advice!
