I'd check your aerial !

Looks like the 'inside' of a cable nut that would go through the roof or a partition.

Intriguing! It does look like some sort of cable gland… just a random thought, have you been carrying a cycle in the van?

When was the last time you had any work done in your motorhom, might have fallen out of a toolbag rolled under a seat and only just come to light.
I found a snap on ratchet complete with socket in mine wedged under the front passenger seat, been there weeks and I then returned it to the workshop.

Don't have an aerial , so probably not.
Looks like a pressure washer attachment or air line attachment.
No pressure washer so I think not. Airline maybe - I have a High-pressure tyre pump -12v so it maybe something from there.

Not in the van - no
1/2” bsp to quick coupler plumbing part.
Hmm
It does look like a quick connect coupling for something
It does but to what I cant figure
Looks like a grease nipple to me
You wish:LOL:

Well We did have everything out of the van to get a "real" unladen weight figure recently and in the process this may well have dropped out of something - it's what that's eluding me.

A very small one possibly but not our habitation gas system.
Yes, Pneumatic Quick Connect Coupling?
I think this is favourite
Looks like a pop rivet gun nozzle to me!
I don't have a pop rivet gun, to my shame, so doubt it's that

No, I am settling on a bit from the tyre inflation kit, until something better shows up. Thanks for the suggestions.

Looks like a cheapy broken 1/4" BSP Pushlok swivel elbow, but with the plastic elbow missing (they do break off occasionally) In the accompanying picture, imagine the black "housing" part was missing, leaving just the nickel plated body with the O ring groove in it ?

And what would that be doing in my van?

I am coming round to that theory. But where precisely, inside a van, even a German one, do they install grease nipples? On second thoughts don't answer that.

Wrong shape for grease nipple.

What size is it??

Keep it… put it away and in about 3yrs you’ll find a use for it…😎

Definately looks like the fitting we use on end of rubber gas hoses but to me looks like never been fitted as threads still look to good to have been inside a fitting or governor.
