Now we have the MH, I don't have time off work, nor decent weather, to get away. So thought I might stock up on a couple of the good guides (France, Spain, anything for Greece?). Oh Germany would be good too and Best Beloved is German. At least I can read and dream.
We live in France, have a couple of titles of what French people use, but what do you use, those who reside up there in Albany and Hibernia, the far north as far as I'm concerned.

The DK Eyewitness guides are a good introduction. With maps, lots of photos and recommendations for the main sites. The Rough Guides also add a bit but like the Lonely Planet guides they are a bit long on places to stay and eat out, being mostly aimed at visitors arriving by aircraft.

Oops, I expressed myself badly, I meant motorhoming guides. Sorry for that.

Camper Contact book & app mainly for us. Have also got the Bord Atlas which is particularly good for Germany but covers Europe. Our Bod Atlas is getting a bit old now but as we've no plans to go to Germany this year haven't bought new this year. Have bought the new CC book though.
