How about this a Council Run Motorhome Aire with sunset view (look at the reflections in the windows)
Water, Grey Waste Drop, Black Waste drop , Rubbish RECYLING bins and Police patrols for security

Yes British Councils Site up and Take Notice
and the view is of Berriozar and Pamplona
This is FREE and of course it's in Spain

Ravenna three weeks ago to see the amazing mosaics. City centre Sosta, basically a car park with dump point. 10 minutes walk to churches etc. But €2.25 for 24 hours! Cost us €2.30 as didn’t have small enough coins. Only downside for us was council decided to renew white lines on pedestrian crossings etc, very close to us, AT 4.30AM

IMHO when people complain/ compare CMC costs with sites/Aires etc abroad surely there are a additional costs to include/ take into consideration for going abroad such as ferry/tunnel, additional fuel costs, animal costs, if applicable etc. CMC may be expensive but so are independent sites, even more so and if you book it's only a £5 deposit which if late cancellation is not much to loose compared to independent sites.

Don't get me wrong there are great benefits of touring abroad but....... you need to get there first.
