Collected our Eliseo 602 and drive the 260 plus miles from Manchester to Poole. What a great drive these vans are. Now getting ready for first trip to VANBITZ for alarm next week. What other additions would other PVC owners suggest. ……

You'll have reversing cameras & a dashcam I presume? Lights down the side so you can see to manouver in tight spaces at night. Terribly basic & apply to any vehicle as much as a PVC but dashcam especially is dear to my heart because of how much grief & cash mine and my son's have saved us so I never like to miss a chance to evangelise for them!
Lights down the side are required on lorries but, in my experience again, just as valuable on smaller vehicles.
I just bought myself a solar powered pir led light for the side door - welcoming to you & discouraging to the unwanted..
You're probably ahead of me on all that but at least you know your question has been read!!

How did you fit that?
Magnet stuck to the back of the led thingy.

There's a thread here somewhere from a guy who bolted his led to a bit of awning track & slides it into the awning rail. I was going to do that and still might because it would get more sunshine but I find, since it only comes on when someone is near, the battery gets enough charge.

Stick it on any bit of metal when needed... I've not tried driving with it in place but am tempted...

But I am also tempted by something like this, which would allow the solar panel to go on the roof & lights work well when they wouldn't otherwise get enough sunlight but so far not felt the need:

There are of course plenty of similar alternatives which will shout for your attention once you get on ebay!!
