Hi all, due to a family illness I have not need able to drive my van for the past 4 months. Therefore I need to replace the battery.

I’ve taken the old one out but have literally zero idea which one I need, when I put the number plate into any of the various sites it just comes back as the name of my motorhome, not the base vehicle.

I have attached a photo of the battery, any idea what these numbers / codes mean? Don’t want to spend the money on a new battery for it not to be the right one.

It’s a hobby Vantana, on a Citroen relay 2.2 litre diesel.

Put "Citroen relay battery into eBay search" with a little common sense and maybe a tape measure and info off the old battery, you should find a selection suitable replacements

Standard wet (flooded) lead acid battery.

95Ah - 95 Ampere-hours - typical camper van starter battery capacity

900A - 900 cold cranking amps - the current available to turn the engine over in cold weather.

Yup. . 019 on my Relay.

Think 020s are an option as well but best double check.

Looks to be a like for like specs wise. If you're anywhere near Bradford as it's collection only. Date looks to be 11/09/2022.
Try Tanya,or Alpha batteries.

Measure your existing battery in mm to ensure it will fit in the space; height, width, length. Also it looks like it is a stop/start battery.
With those dims and the battery performance already mentioned above (105 ah capacity and 950 cca) you can find a match.
Varta is a good battery brand however just like tyres you might be able to buy cheaper brands.
I have bought my last 3 batteries online from Tayna. Ring them if you need some reassurance.

Thanks for all your advice.

After measuring up the battery and putting the dimensions into this tool. I’ve found out it’s actually a 020 battery and all the 020’s line up exactly with the spec on the current battery.

However, after thinking of goosed the battery letting it go down to 10.4 volts I stuck it on my ctek charger and measuring the volts over a week it seems to be holding charge well so I’ve put it back in with a view to change in the summer before more often use.

Thought the tool may be useful for others.
