What’s your best mod / upgrade?

I come from a school of thought that there is little you can’t do yourself with some good tools, a bit of pluck and the wisdom of the Internet. The Goldsscmidtt sounds fancy...but is it really much more complicated than the rear air assist I fitted? The hardest thing was deciding where to put the compressor and how to roe the airlines to the control panel in the dash.
Our van had such a hard ride and none to stable in strong cross winds. Still a hardish ride with the air but amazingly stable you can drive past an artic at 70 with your hands off the wheel also get a reasonable degree of leveling. Also whatever load you put in the van it always runs at the same height. Unfortunately not avalible for self fit.
I’m not looking forward to paying aN OFTEC boiler engineer to come and certify the new condensing oil boiler I’ve just installed myself at home, but needs must
Installed my last two boilers myself, you can't get them certified if you install yourself I tried they will only do it on their own install. Best you can do is get it serviced so you have a bit of paper saying its safe. Got around to getting mine serviced last year at 6 years old, it went wrong and I couldn't sort it myself.

I am paying a fortune at the moment getting some patios done just too much to do ourself around 85 sq M. It's involved 23 tonnes of Type 1 and 10 tonne of sharp sand, 8 tonne of top soil and the black limestone flags are flipping heavy, I can't lift the big ones the youngsters (40 - 50 year olds) just pick them up.

On my dark grey PVC best purchase has been stick on black rubber gutter for above sliding door. Saves the rain water from dropping straight onto the floor when you open the door. Less than a tenner. I've done all the other usual modifications, but the gutter is my very favourite.

I’m seriously considering solar and a second leisure battery. What is putting me off solar is I really don’t want to drill holes in the roof. These type of vehicles leak water for fun without drilling holes in them. Is there any way of both, fixing panels on the roof and getting the cables to the control panel without drilling holes?
You only need one hole for the cables and by the time it's gone the cable entry gland then roof very little chance of a leak.

Solar panel and inverter

It meant my daughter came away with me.....
With her long hair
And it meant my current partner didn't mind camping in laybys or come racing because she could still wash, dry and straighten her hair 👍
