Can someone help please?
We have a Whale Water Pump fitted to an Elddis Accordo.
It judders all the time, but certainly getting worse.
Can’t find a leak. Hubby says is common fault but it certainly getting on my nerves to have this frequent juddering.
Any suggestions would be really useful.

Please describe juddering a bit more. Do you mean cycling for a short while, stopping, then cycling again?

No just a frequent one second judder.

Could be a leaking diaphragm if the pump has one. If it's only just recently happened and there isn't a leak then it seems likely

Big assumptions here;
Assumption 1: The system is pressure operated, and not reliant on electronically switched taps ?
Assumption 2: A Truma Combi unit, or something, similar is involved?
Assumption 3: The 'juddering' is not happening every 5 minutes ?

Sometimes, just sometimes, such intermittent, and irregular, short bursts of activity are caused by expansion and contraction, both of the pipe material, and the water in them.

If you heat the water, and use the hotter 60 degree setting, then as things cool down, usually overnight, then a drop in system pressure will cause the pump to operate briefly.

I may be spouting rubbish here, but I do have a decent knowledge of the principles of hydraulics and the effects of liquid expansion upon such systems.

Otherwise, it's a small leak somewhere in the system, or a dicky pump diaphragm, as David and Mr B have suggested.

If it really is happening very often, then its a leak, and nowt to do with expansion.

Just my two pennorth. :giggle:

This may well be of interest to you as your pump pulses every now and again.
We had the same problem which lead to our pump seizing, then over heating and nearing catching fire.

Thanks everyone for your hints and tips.
A new pump has been purchased, fingers crossed!
