Both the water heater and the heater are showing as communication lost on the control panel. Reset on panel, go to switch on and same message reappears.
Turned off all power and then on, no joy. Fuses ok. Cannot see any obvious wires disconnected.
Any one help please.

Pull the seattle (control panel) out by removing the outer black trim/ bezel to expose 4 screws . Check the plugs are secure especially the plugs shown far left and right. If they are , in your PDU , check the multi plug marked " J8 " in the second pic , this is the back of the PCB where the fuses are located , the heater / water heater supplies are , pins 8 (red) & 9 (blue) space heater, supplied by 5 amp fuse 4th from right and water heater, 3 amp fuse 6th from left respectively.

Hi there Sleeveless. Tried your suggestions, and than you for them, but no joy. Will take to dealer unfortunately to do a check and test.

Oh well , worth a try . i'm pretty sure the two heaters are controlled via LIN Bus from the Seattle unit , this enables fault codes to be generated and read/cleared from the display for both heaters. All you can do is check the inputs , which you've now done. Maybe let us know what the dealer comes up with, I've not seen this particular fault reported before .
