This place is stunning. All services, though black waste you need to lift a grid.thete are toilets which are clean and functional, but what a view and so relaxing. There is a train line but doesn't appear to be busy and some French motorhomes stayed last night and said they stop around 9pm. Apparently it should be €10 but the machine is broken and has been for some time and weekends are also best avoided ....

If you are heading west around to como, there's a fantastic carpark, which although payable, is superb for walking into Como, we spent around 30 hours there no issues.

And, what's your weather like, we've just spent a lovely week at Garda, red hot, but had a tremendous thunder storm last night

We used the sosta next to the skate park the night before, it was absolutely pouring down so it served its purpose that night but I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone, driving out the following morning we saw a couple of Motorhome parked in this carpark, parked in the spot next to the disabled bay and it was perfectly sloped enough for us, stayed from 9am, to around midday the following day - no issues at all, even when there was a political function on at one of the big homes along the lake and all the cars parked there in the evening, still had a great night sleep.
About 10 minutes walk into Como, maybe 20 around to the Funicular, which is recommended too, but go first thing, it was relatively quiet when we went up, but the queue was out of the door when we returned!
We're leaving Garda tomorrow to catch the mid point of the milie miglia, we've been staying at Camping Serenella, €25 a night with ACSI, 20 minute walk to Bardolino, 25 to Garda

ACSI should be good but it is campsite dependant.

Until the 29th June here at Camping Serenella.

It's not the best campsite we've been on so far this trip, but for the location and price, I think it's perfect

I should add it is just a car park next to a road and heavily over subscribed but 10 mins into Como on foot passing at least 3 ice cream parlours

That's the one next to the skate park - look at the reviews on s4s, it hasn't changed!

Used toilet paper and $hit around the grey waste dump where people don't want to pay for the toilet and a large gathering of people smoking something rather interesting and listening to loud drum base music - that's the polite version!

Someone was parked on the dump when we went but there must have been 15+ there and only 4 or 5 official spaces.
Great if you're a heavy sleeper who is tight fisted .... And apparently likes the smell of ganja by the sounds of it

As an update, we have stayed an extra day and will stay tonight ...

Today we had a visit from

The Ice Cream van !!!! If you look to the left of the ice cream van, there is a Nissan electric camper van. Has an upgraded vehicle battery to 40kw and can do around 140 miles on a full charge! Nice little camper.

Plus I had a little walk around the park up and found it has a launching ramp for anyone canoeing or paddle boarding,

a small beach for anyone brave enough to swim in the cold waters of the lake

A cafe bar

and a park/playground for the younger children

And inside this building in the background are two tiled bathroom areas with WC and hand basin, take your own paper though and lock the main entrance door as you go in as there are no locks on the cubicles themselves.

First train this morning was 7am but in truth I was awake anyway and SWMS wasn't woken up by it ...

All in all, what a great place to stop a couple of nights and if they fix the pay machine, it's still well worth €10 per 24hrs!
