Advice appreciated we're planning a trip in July-August to Scandinavia. we've heard about midges not sure where but would want to avoid if poss. Also can anyone give us a idea of average temperatures in these months.
All comments/advice appreciated.

Hi...
The weather can be lovely that time year... but just like here not guarenteed.. they get a lot of rain on the coast...and it's the mosquitoes that can be a right pain over there...
Would say the further north you go the more chance you have of both been more likely to be an issue...
Toll roads are becoming more common and your likely to have to get a few ferries...
But it' a stunning country.... I'm refering to norway.. not visited Sweden or Finland and was a bit disappointed with the drive up the Danish coast but had a lovely week on a site up by skagen before getting the kristiansand ferry..
Andy.
