Went for a wee ride out today

So took one of the myriad grand kids on the back for a bit of a ride out today

Ended up jumping the chunnel and had lunch in France just for the hell of it

Four hundred + miles later and we got back home
Nan asked her how it went as we had 'been quite a while'

She replied with a one word answer, but it was good enough for me..

AWESOME

( Hate the constant use of the word but gratified she enjoyed the wee jolly )

One of mine thought more than 5 miles from where he was born was exotic and the folk not to be trusted..... the other traveled extensively, we blamed the Romany ancestry and it was wonderful when he took my sister and I along.
