Nice run around North Wales today. Fantastic weather for biking.
This is my favourite pic of the day.
More on Photo of the day if you are interested.

Not heard of that one. Mr Google Map time.
No suger in my tea(y)
EDIT, just googled it, i have been before a few years ago but i don't think it was called Chain and Sprocket then.
It's slipped off my list but now back on as it's only 1 hour from me. So like you a 2 hour run.
Think i will do Elan Valley and that cafe in one run.

Noted. Always looking for new runs.
Rhayader, i've been there a few times. Not for awhile though, is that the village that is near the start/finish of The Elan Valley Road?

Yes if your early you could take that in as well, done it many times, some lovely bends on that road over the top.👍The pub is the (New Inn) but it’s very old, there a good walk from there to pristine not that you want to go walking😀

We left Stoke on Trent 8-30 am arrived in Ruthin 10-30 am had the big breakfast and a natter, used a different way home via Corwen, Llangollen, through to Oswestry, Ellesmere, to Market Drayton and home for 2-30pm and 156 mile journey in lovely countryside and back to Neckend.

Just looked where Pontypool is.
Too far for a day out run.
Max i like to do now at my age is 2 1/2 hours each way with at least 2 stops each way and a lunch stop. Oh and picture stops.
If you got some time to go further south, The Owls Nest in Llandovery is one of the best biker cafes in the UK, the food is legendary too👍

This is very good but may be a bit far.

The new Baffle House is now open in Bonvilston, between Cardiff and Bridgend, on the A48. Still a lot of cars turning up to see what it is like but that will die away. Always a lot of bikes there and it has the benefit of separate parking for cars and bikes.

The photo was taken before it was fully open and is taken from what is now the car park.
