Well That Was Fun!!

We got there around 1.35pm must have missed you, only saw one N&B entering the A7 at Füssen as we were pulling off🤷‍♂️

We’re now on a Stellplatz at Rottenbuch, Austria tomorrow😊😊😊😊
We decided not to head to Dinkelsbühl as figured by the time we got there it would be full so are heading back to Belgium.
Just pulled into a stop outside Stuttgart.
Had this beast park in front and he has just left.
Now I wouldn’t fancy taking this to many places😬😬

I bet jongood would have a crack at it😁😁

I,m loving the pictures, Not sure what this thread was actually about, as most threads now seem to cover the same things eventually,
anyway its just great, summery type shots just make you want to be in your MH,
I,ve just got back fro 5 weeks in Greece, and on the subject of BHP verses Torque, ... Torque all day long, BHP was only used as a sales tool.
Please see pics from about a month ago now, anyone remember backing on ferries at Dover, This was to Corfu.
Parked in the sun at Ionia home of the Greek olympic rowing team.
and I thought it appropriate for this weekend's celebrations, the birth place of Prince Phillip.

We were in Rothenberg o d Tauber Thursday and Friday, stayed in the campsite at Detwang at the bottom of the hill.
Loved the city, so much to see!

We would have stayed longer, but the site was already booked for the long weekend months ago.
(It's also the same weekend as a local festival commemorating the need to drink 3.5 liters of wine in under 10 mins!)
Link here

We are now down on the Altmuhl at Kinding (south of Nuremberg) over the holiday, before heading towards Fussen, Salzburg and Austria

Just come this way, Croatia to Venice then Florence then Merano now Fussen.
Working our way up to Belgium next week..
Been very busy at all places and especially with Germans😁
We are just outside Florence at the moment and it 33 and is supposed to rise to 35 by end of week

We were lucky as it had just cooled down to high 20s, we went that way as day before gave low 20s then when we arrived it had changed🤬🤬
We are on the Moselle on the Luxembourg side and it’s 21 so nice😁😁
Although it is raining also🤬🤬

Slovenia was 32 hence why we never went back that was mid 20s is good for me and the 2 pups😁😁

Not impressed with Florence and wished we had turned up and gone back into Austria from Venice🙁🙁

lovely site and laid back park where and how you like😁😁

Shop, bar and restaurant on site and a 5 minute walk to the bus stop to go into the town.

NOT!!

Who’s idea was it to take the scenic route to Germany through Austria from Italys South Tyrol🤔🤔

7 miles of this and 2400m up the road was barely wide enough for 2 cars, throw in some German sight seeing coaches and local buses😂😂

Was glad to get down the mountain that’s for sure🥵🥵

This is a good view as it got worse after this, as in 6ft visibility and no crash
That could be anywhere. Come on where is it really . Peak district ? Yorkshire Dales?

We are here for the night. https://www.searchforsites.co.uk/marker.php?id=3559

Seems a nice little place plenty of restaurants and near the river.
We’ve stopped at Hornbach for the night, Stelplatz is lovely with WiFi, EHU, under cover eating area and fire pit for €9 a night with the electric extra. Town has a few old churches but nothing much else, ideal for night or two and added bonus of the baker does a delivery in the morning.

We loved Venice, had a half day stop off on a cruise years ago and didn’t think much of it same as Florence but that was in August 🥵🥵
Loved it this time and they have some nice shops over the back streets selling Murano glass so picked up some stuff for the new house.

Florence to busy for us and the traffic was a nightmare☹️☹️

Austria was stunning and the non toll was a lovely drive, apart from so hills😁

Still had snow at some of the ski resorts we drove through 🥶🥶

Check out the satnav. This was a trip we took between the Italian lakes and Switzerland it was called the Spugen pass (or something similar). Great drive. Summer only.

So much for going to new places🤷‍♂️

Sorry to the OP this thread has gone way off tangent😉 I could start my own travel thread and post where we are at anyone night but I doubt anyone would be bothered:whistle2:

Yes same lump I think ours was the 180bhp but have never seen a Palace without the 210 upgrade so don’t know why this is not standard!!
We have around 250bhp now with the remapping and a lot better torque so it pulls like a train with around 7t plus to pull.

Where are you?
We have a 60c with the 205 hp and it drinks adblu I am looking at getting some alterations done ie adblue Egr and dpf delete in the ecu and looking for recommendations, happy with the performance but drinks adblue 🤣

No I just use the search for sites app, I pay for this but only as I like to keep sites as favourites to find easier.
Last night was €7.5 and tonight is €15 with EHU water and a service point.
It’s the only app I use now.
Sometimes we just drive and when we’ve had enough look on the app and see what’s the nearest stop.
Always a good choice within a 10 minute drive.

Forgot to add I also like that when you find a site it gives you the Nav options at the touch of a button so no mistakes.
Know someone who imputed an address in to go the Brugge from the UK and realised after a while that the English Channel should be on the left when travelling to Belgium through France not the right.
Obviously cannot name names on an open forum:whistle2::whistle2:
