It's a year tomorrow we bought our 2005 Autosleeper Amethyst. We will have done 36 nights and covered nearly 3000 miles. We haven't travelled to far and maybe not been out as much as we thought (40+) nights, but with our holidays more in sync from work we will be out more next year.
We joined this site, the CaCC and Britstops. I think I'll join them again next year although I find CaCC sites expensive but I like the option of the ths. The CaCC sites have been good for our son though as he loves a play park and the sites always feel safe. Britstops has been great for ad-hoc 1 nights away.
We haven't added any modifications but will be adding another 150w solar panel, lithium and maybe some seat covers early next year.
I don't want to tempt fate by saying we have had trouble free get aways.
Best site CaCC site dunstanbough Northumberland
Best CS (small) Pennine lodge St Johns Chapel
Best BS site, Derwent reservoir (views)
Worst site Akbar north Yorkshire (a human zoo lol)
Cheers Mark
