Looking
Good Day All
Looking at the following 2 vans & a few more to confuse matters so many to choose from on the market, would like a minimum 650kg payload, my licence has the needed C1 for over 3500kg.
Knaus Boxlife 600, 500kg payload on light chassis as standard I would upgrade to maxi chassis
Dreamer Living Van only 371kg payload I believe it is on a maxi chassis

What I have read so far is as long as it's on the maxi chassis correct wheels it can be up plated to 4250kg, will a dealer do this or will a 3rd party like sv tech have to do it.
Cheers Mark

I aaked my dealer about up-plating my new PVC and also spoke with SV Tech. I was told the vehicle initially needs to be registered by the dealer with DVLA using the convertors plate (ie 3500kg) and only after that can the up-plating exercise be done. In my experience the dealer then intends to use SV Tech to do the necessary, although you could of course engage them yourself.
