Weighbridge closure

I do not see the point of paying for a 'Ticket' as it is no proof of the weight when stopped, only what it was at time and date of weighing.

It might be persuasive that you have a responsibility about your weight and any overweight is an error, but you still might have to dump the excess weight at the test point.

We're heading over to one of R Collards places this week to weigh the MH - they have one literally around the corner from us, but of course no ticket (Eversley is the second closest).

No longer available at Sims in Yateley, I tried about 3 months ago, Collards in Eversley is the nearest but do not give a ticket. The nearest I could find for a ticket was Basingstoke.

I think it must be this one Manor Farm, Monk Sherborne near Basingstoke.
Will have to give them a call to see if they offer a ticket & what prices are, it states that "Local Enforcement Officers use this weighbridge"
PS: Roads to it look very narrow, but I guess if quarry lorries use it often, the that should clear the overhanging tree branches

Yeah I saw that one, I was hoping that maybe spongy knew of a different one......preferably one on a slightly bigger road Hubby doesn't really like the idea of meeting one of the quarry lorries coming the other way on those single track roads leading to the Manor Farm one.
Will just keep my fingers crossed that we don't need a ticket any time soon, in which case R Collards will do us fine.
