Just found out Friday 27 November is another school closed day.

Anyone meeting up anywhere near us or Essex way over that weekend?

If so where,

If not anyone fancy a trip to somewhere in Essex that weekend?

Hi, I live in Essex as well, so I'd be up for it,

We have nothing planned for that weekend at the moment.
We may be able to come along, depends whereabouts you are thinking of going.

What sort of facilities are important to you and what sort of price range?

Have you any sites in mind that are quite local sue?

All suggestions welcome.

Also Norfolk and suffolk arent too far either

Woman likes a warm toilet block and I like a pub with entertainment but aint fussed as long as I am out and about !

Hi, would suggest essex or suffolk as norfolk may be a bit far for me to come on friday after work and leave sunday. I could do without hook up, just use battery for light, and kettle for any hot water. Just name the place...

Anyway, it gets dark so early now, I'll probably be in bed by 7.30 :Rofl1:

I quitw like frinton, lovely old town and beach and ther are one of two CC's there-
or could come south of the thames?

I went to waldgraves a few weeks ago, It's a big site with wifi, and dog friendy.
A well stocked shop with food and camping gear, A takeaway and sit in resturant, And also a club with entertainment.
If you like your fishing take a rod.

Also check the tide's for Mersea island, Cause if it's a high one you wont get on the island.

Just spoke to woman and yep, she is up for it as well, so all things being equal will be there ( if that is the place finally chosen that is :BigGrin: )

We are booked to do a 40th birthday bash that weekend.. Had no idea and woman had forgotten too. :cry:

Site at Mersea looks great - will give them a call tomorrow morning and get back to you all

I will see whether we can have pitches all together and take it from there

They have pitches with electric but no hard standing - only grass pitches available

£12 per night

So who is definitely up for it ?
