We have a Weber gas bbq which was purchased in Spain and would like to bring it back to use in the UK.
I contacted Weber and they said a big no on the grounds of safety, difference in gases, pressures, gas valve, country specific bbq burners etc etc.
has anyone else tried to do this particularly with any other Mike’s than Weber?
thanks

My son and tens of thousands of m/homers, caravanners and tenters use their Full English Calor gas BBQ abroad.

Seems a stupid answer from Webber. If it’s bottle fed you will have to change the connector. Spain has it a different bottle fed gas regulator pressure than the uk. ???

When I go into Europe I fill my tank with their gas and use my Weber through a hose from the outside gas point!!
Also fill up with UK gas.

And I have a van I purchased in Germany.

I use propane and butane on my bbq with no difference at all and have done for the last 30 years on all different bbq's it's a health and safety "get out clause" like "may contain nuts"
