Hi
Has anyone managed to convert a Weber go anywhere gas bbq for connection to the mh outlet???
Thanks

I have converted my Weber q1000 to run off the van gas tank or I can use the small canisters.
Just got some of these and also made up some 3m long hoses.

I think you’ll have a problem because of the unique clip in connection to the burner. IIRC there were issues with another similar Weber product posted last year on the forum, so maybe it’s not unknown with their portable BBQs.

Ok thanks
Think I’m going to send it back.
It has a regulator attached that can’t be removed as it holds the valve in place, I don’t like the idea of the supply going through two regulators.

Good idea if you want one to run off the moho BBQ point as an additional built in regulator will need a higher input pressure than 30mb. You can double check most BBQ connections by downloading the relevant user manuals beforehand - also check out the specification of the appliance as many portable BBQs are rated for 37mb propane in the U.K. I have a Napoleon TravelQ PRO285X and that is rated for 30mb.

I have the Weber Go anywhere gas barbie, and find the small canisters last ages.. we were away last year for three weeks and used it almost daily and only used two canisters..

I like the fact that it's not tethered by a gas line and we can use it away from the van and anywhere we have a picnic
