Just went to turn the heating on and a red light came on the screen with the message no connection . Checked reason and have now fully charged leisure batteries but still unable to get heating to come on, not sure what to do next . Any help tremendously appreciated

Don't know what version you had but we had one in our campervan that had a LED that would flash indicating a fault code. Mostly it was due to not being a high enough voltage at the unit. Generally we found it best to run the engine before we turned it on. Once going could turn the engine off. Occasionally it would go into shutdown mode and we had to take the fuse out to get it to reset

I have an older one on my boat- the controller will flash if it wont start- the number of flashes gives a fault code. If I haven't used the heater or the boat for a while, I generally run the boat engine for a - this "primes" the fuel line (I am not sure where your fuel take of is) By running the engine will also ensure there is adequate power to fire up the heater
