What are your prefered weather apps when planning areas to visit . Are they any more accurate that BBC , zoom earth etc ?

WeatherBug, but it also has its moments!

I use the BBC app. It’s completely useless all of the time,so I’m never disappointed. I just assume the weather will be different from their forecast.
Try seaweed.

Ventusky.

As inaccurate as any other but you can sort of foresee 12 days in advance and get live radar and satellite images for free on the app.
Change from temperature to precipitation as well as zoom

I use various apps for forecasting. But to know if you're going to get wet in the next hour or so, RainRadar is great. It's not predicting, it just shows where the rain is falling and you can take an educated guess as to whether that blob that's a downpour is going to hit you or not.

Here in Wales, looking out of an upstairs westerly facing window is about as accurate as it gets 🤔🤷😱
and knowing your luck the wind will be from the East!
