Hey guys we are a start-up and are trying to create a better toilet for motor home/ caravan owners. We believe that you deserve something better; for too long toilets have stayed the same and we want to offer motor home/caravan owners a better user experience that compares to being at home.

A toilet with a automatic mechanical ventilation to outside, as you open the slider. Not the Micky Mouse sog kits with a tiny pipe and tiny fan. That would eliminate chemicals.

Another vote for SOG . We have SOG 2 and it works perfectly. No chemicals, no smells, good product.

That can be solved with the application of a little technology.
First, a macerator so the contents are a liquidised quite quickly to aid automated pumping out.
Then, use cameras and the AI systems from self driving cars to automatically control when it dumps.

Driving at national speed limit, the camera sees no-one behind you? It opens the valve.
The camera sees you are being aggressively tailgated? Open the valve.
Going down a country lane where it recognises the farmer has already spread muck on the road? Dribble a bit on top as no-one will notice.

Easy!

I’m partially there, we have the macerated toilet, the under slung camera to find the drains and the MOVs to open the outlet, just need the tailgating auto release mod fitted.

I dont think the OP is ever coming back on here.
But whilst we are talking toilets again, can you remember seeing this sign?, and did you ever spot the result of a non conformist on any railway station track? I even as a kid could not believe that this was how toilets on trains worked, I hope the new ones have tanks nowadays.
Can you imagine how much effluent was passed onto the tracks with football fans coming home after a match.

I'm wondering IF that still happens because, as you say, on a football special one never see the sign 'TOILET CLOSE' due to full tanks as we had to do on the Coaches???? Either that or they must have bloody big tanks?

Why do you think the railways are overrun with rats? Pretty disgusting to drop faeces along the tracks, but they do seem to still do it on some trains

Why use loads of chemicals anyway? We've used 1 litre of bio washing detergent in 3 months.

We don't use any chemicals whatsoever - just water and fresh air go into the SOG as well as....
