Just been quoted £680 to repair my leaking waterpump.....

Worse that that it's a 8 week lead time for the bits!!!!

So I'm off the road for 2 months.

Any ideas on getting a quicker fix?

K seal or Radweld will stop a small leak. Worth a shot if you cannot source a replacement.

Autodoc, gsf, eurocarparts etc may well have a pump.

That can happen though Ade when you don’t come back on to give an update, was it sorted, what happened, etc
I know, I’ve done it before, then when someone tells me it’s an old post it’s like doh🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

(yes I know it's an older thread)
If the iveco engine is the same as fitted in the ducato (a quick google says it might be), I think the waterpump also has an engine mounting as part of it, so there's quite a bit more involved in replacing it than first meets the eye.
I had one fail on me about 18 months ago which cracked the pump casing and all the coolant poured out. No warning lights on the dash until it disintegrated after a few miles, then the belt came off and jammed in the alternator belt and the charge warning light came on.
It was several hundred pounds to sort out and fortunately no other damage was evident, even the then-aircooled engine has been ok since.
