Water shortages above Andalucia?

Leaving Gibraltar tomorrow heading for Santander along the western route.

Andalucia has suffered badly from the sequia and many aires have had their water supplies cut off.

Have any funsters who have recently travelled (or are travelling) up or down on that route experienced the same? Recent experience in Extremadura and Castilla would be especially appreciated.
